Melanie Flowers

Melanie Flowers is the Senior Manager of Technical Training at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, where she has worked since 1997. She has 20 years of experience in management with an emphasis in overseeing general business training operations and implementation of policies. Among other things, Melanie plans and monitors Samsung vendors and service providers to ensure accountability and program integrity, creates future high-quality workforce pipeline building - including community outreach, board membership and advisory committee participation - and manages workforce development programs, technical training development, instruction (Specialists, Technicians and Engineers), technical video production/photography, technical training plan development, controlled training document management, training needs analysis and learning system administration.

Melanie has served in a variety of community roles and was elected chair of the Board of Directors for Skillpoint Alliance in 2017.
