Barbara Fister
I’m an academic librarian who spent several decades at a small liberal arts college where I coordinated our instruction program, worked on digital projects, and did a whole lot of other stuff, too, because being small means wearing many hats. In 2019 I had the opportunity to serve as a scholar-in-residence with Project Information Literacy.
My research interests include how students learn to use libraries, where publishing is going, what the heck is happening to our information landscape, and how social issues are represented in crime fiction. I also occasionally write crime fiction of my own (and review it, too). You can find me on Twitter at @bfister
