Ernest Ezeugo

Ernest Ezeugo is the policy director for the National Campus Leadership Council (NCLC), where he leads the organization's policy analysis and advocacy work. He also manages the Student Policy Alliance project, building infrastructure to elevate student voice in higher education policy by convening state, system, and conference-based student associations around a shared, student-focused policy vision. He believes that we can correct the course of American higher education by centering the voice and action of students and historically underserved communities.
Prior to joining NCLC, Ernest was a program associate with the Education Policy program at New America, where he worked with the higher education initiative to conduct research on the ethics of predictive analytics, economic mobility, and public opinion. He also served in the Department of Education, where he supported the Obama administration's educational technology efforts
