DeMarco White

DeMarco White began his career on the west side of Chicago working within the public school district to address the drop-out crisis impacting under-resourced communities. DeMarco joined the House of Blues Music Forward Foundation to increase access and equity for young artists from underrepresented populations. Working to identify and secure paid gig opportunities for emerging artists, DeMarco understands the music industry through a unique lens. Currently working as the Institutional Partnerships Manager at Music Forward he works with higher education institutions to identify opportunities for young people within the music industry. He believes that by equipping youth with the essential skills to identify, obtain, and secure opportunities, we can work to make the music industry a more diverse and inclusive space.
