Julie Bollmer

Julie Bollmer, Ph.D., is a Westat Senior Study Director with 17 years of experience in project management, research design, data collection and analysis, and provision of TA. Her projects have primarily focused on children with disabilities, special education policy, racial/ethnic disproportionality, and issues related to the mental health of adults and children. Dr. Bollmer is currently the Co-Director of IDC and was the Deputy Director prior to that. Dr. Bollmer oversees all aspects of IDC’s implementation and performance, including the work of nine subcontractors and three consultants. Under her leadership, IDC currently assists states in developing and enhancing data infrastructures, implementing high-quality data validation strategies, and analyzing and reporting IDEA data to inform improvement activities.
