David Ross is a sixth-grade teacher in a semi-rural school district in northern California who opted to leave non-profit management (he was the CEO of the Partnership for 21st Century Learning and the former Senior Director for the Buck Institute for Education) to directly impact the life and learning of students. He is the co-author of several books on Project Based Learning, including the PBL Starter Kit and Models of Inquiry, Explained. He focuses much of his work now on critical thinking and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Future Problem Solvers organization.
