Maria Martha Chavez Brumell

Chavez is driven by a social mission and a desire to find innovative ways to solve social problems that have challenged the market or the public sector. Education is the core of her efforts ranging from kindergarten to higher education. Chavez received a PhD and M. Phil from Yale University in Sociology. A Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Psychology and Spanish Literature from Kansas State. She serves as CEO of Catch the Next and faculty at UT Austin.
