Dave Poirier

Dave is a High School Teacher in St. Catharines, ON, Canada. His focus has been teaching academically based classes (Geography, Math, History) to students who are developmentally delayed in Special Education programs. He approaches these classes not as a toned down version of the original, but rather as a different approach. Dave challenges his students to stuggle in his classes. His classroom is a place where students are energized and empowered by setting high expectations for themselves because thats where the big victories are.
