Becca Shaddox

Becca is the Director of STEM Strategy at Walmart, where she is dedicated to growing the national STEM pipeline and ensuring the workforce of the future is prepared. Becca is responsible for collaborating with private, public and non-profit sectors to increase the pipeline and its diversity and actively supports STEM initiatives led and sponsored by Walmart.

Under Becca’s leadership, Walmart has developed valued partnerships with groups such as Girls Who Code, AnitaB.org, STEMConnector, the National Center for Women in Technology (NCWIT), and many others based on the mission of their strategy. She has supported the growth and promotion a new, emotive and artistic online platform that highlights women in technical STEM roles celebrating different experiences, ethnicities, and career stages by sharing real stories and advice to inspire girls and women.

Becca is passionate about STEM and has been an advocate for females in the field of technology. Becca has held roles ranging from programming to IT strategy and even IT behavioral change management over her 16 year's at Walmart.
