Dana Stephenson

Recently awarded BC Business Top 30 Under 30, Dana's entrepreneurial journey started when he set out to improve the education, training and recruitment systems affecting a generation suffering from highest graduate underemployment, widest skills gap, and highest employee turnover rates in history. After graduating from business school, he looked back at his education and at all of the projects students completed and realized many had industry merit that could benefit local companies while helping students build their experience and skills. With over 7 years of building and leading outside sales team for companies like Shaw, Telus, and Direct Energy, he combined his interests in social entrepreneurship, recruiting, and education technology to launch Riipen.
