Jenna Kim will be completing her senior year of high school at Avenues: The World School in 2020. For the past 3 years, she has been a member and leader of Design 4 Impact (D4i) – a student-led startup and club that promotes the adoption and practice of design thinking techniques throughout K-12 education. During her junior year of high school, she founded and launched Jenzemi (https://www.jenzemi.com/), a fashion blog and retailer that promotes independent designers and eco-friendly apparel. She is also a co-founder of Alkais (https://www.alkaidedu.org/), a non-profit organization dedicated to offering educational opportunities and eye care in rural China. Jenna has attended the Whatever It Takes (http://www.doingwit.org/) program as a teen entrepreneur, and has interned for Alexander Wang. She is passionate about applying design thinking techniques for social impact, and about developing a platform for socially responsible fashion brands.
