Mercedes Werner
Specialist in Education and Technology. She has been involved in initiatives at the public, private and the third sector. Her experience of more than 15 years in Latin America and the United States have shaped her proficiency in designing and promoting education programs. She is researching how to create positive avenues of collaboration among sectors that can position Technology Education for success in the City of Buenos Aires.
She is Director General of Digital Education at the Ministry of Education of Buenos Aires City, where she was previously appointed Innovation a Technology Manager and created Buenos Aires City´s coding initiative.
She is a fellow of the Social Innovation Management program at Amani Institute São Paulo, Brazil. Also a fellow of Georgetown University Washington DC and participated from Stanford’s Women Leadership Program at Palo Alto, USA. She studied education policy at Torcuato Di Tella University, and I hold a BA in business from San Andrés University.
