Megan Madison

Megan Pamela Ruth Madison is a doctoral candidate at Brandeis University where she is completing her dissertation research on racial inequities in the early care and education teaching workforce. With a deep commitment to translating research into meaningful change in policy and practice, Megan also works as a Trainer, facilitating professional development for PreK-12 educators across New York City on race, gender, and sexuality. Megan has over a decade of experience in the field, working across a wide range of roles and settings in early childhood education--from assistant teacher to program evaluator. As an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Megan has co-facilitated the organization's Diversity & Equity Education for Adults Interest Forum and served on the Governing Board. She holds a bachelor's degree in Studies in Religion from the University of Michigan and a M.S. in Early Childhood Education from Dominican University.
