Youki Terada

Youki tracks research trends to ensure that Edutopia's articles, blogs, and videos are all backed by research while remaining engaging and relevant. He develops research-based content for social media, including the "Did You Know?" and "Jar of Jargon" series. He is also part of the social media team, where he answers questions on Twitter, Facebook, and on our site. Before Edutopia, YoukiI was at the Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley, where he studied the connections between informal and formal science learning for elementary school students. Youki was also a researcher for STEM digital libraries and other educational technology programs at UC Berkeley. He has a Master's in Education with a focus on language, literacy, and culture, and his undergraduate degree is in Sociology.
