Kristen Titus
Kristen Titus is the Executive Director of the Cognizant U.S. Foundation, a new $100 million nonprofit dedicated to supporting technology education and skills training across the United States. Titus was previously the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO) for New York State. As the state’s first CTIO, she led New York’s digital and tech policy portfolios, overseeing historic investments in technology education, workforce, and economic development. She was also the Founding Executive Director of the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline and Girls Who Code, where she built the national nonprofit working to close the gender gap in technology and engineering. Titus has been recognized among TIME Magazine’s 2013 “30 People Under 30 Changing the World;” Business Insider’s 2014 “Most Influential Young People in Tech;” Forbes’ “Women Changing the World;” and Elle Magazine’s “11 Women Who Might Just Change the World.”
