Heather Collins
Dr. Heather Collins is a cognitive neuroscientist passionate about communicating the impact of brain science on everyday life to the public. She is an educator, speaker, and Biostatistician at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Heather earned her Ph.D. in Psychological and Brain Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, then completed five-years of postdoctoral fellowship work in structural and functional correlates of the brain using MRI technologies at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and the Medical University of South Carolina.
Heather has published 30+ scientific publications in academic journals, such as the New England Journal of Medicine, as well as popular press articles on applying cognitive neuroscience to everyday life.
