Elaine Koons

Elaine serves as an Early Childhood Consultant to Great Start Collaborative-Wayne providing support in program development, training, and group facilitation. She has designed content for parenting programs through Livonia Public Schools, Detroit Public Television, Great Start Collaborative-Wayne. Most recently, she has championed the Detroit/Wayne Talking is Teaching community campaign from planning to implementation. She has also presented on the campaign at numerous state-wide conferences. Elaine is also a contributing author of materials for the National Talking is Teaching: Talk, Read, Sing Campaign, as well as the Detroit/Wayne County Talking is Teaching: Talk, Read, Sing Community Campaign Guide.
