Frankie Jackson
Frankie Jackson is the Director for Strategic Initiatives for the Texas K-12 CTO Council. She serves on the Consortium of School Networking (CoSN’s) advisory board for Driving K-12 Innovation and the Policy committee, supporting education technology leadership at the national level. She also serves as a leading instructor for CoSN’s Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) program. She served as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in K-12 for 25 years. She spent the first 10 years of her career as a software engineer at NASA supporting Space Shuttle and Station Operations. Quickly moving up in the organization, she served as a Baldrige quality examiner and program manager of the Safety, Reliability and Quality Assurance contracts.
Frankie holds a B.A. in Computer Information Systems, M.S. in Instructional Technology and Ph.D. in Metaphysics. She is currently working on a new book that focuses on the critical aspects of transformational leadership and managing performance excellence.
