Ann Andreza Martins serves as national director of AFS Intercultura Brazil. Through international exchange programs, education initiatives, volunteerism, and advocacy, AFS Brazil provides people with the intercultural skills and understanding to actively contribute to society and create change. AFS Brazil hosts STEM camps with a focus on developing STEM projects in intercultural groups. AFS Brazil launched EFFECT + Global Citizenship Education Workshops to empower young Brazilians to develop global awareness and local actions targeting the SDGs. Martins has extensive experience working in public agencies that serve diverse international communities, such as the Fulbright Commission, EducationUSA and Harvard Teaching Hospital. Her academic background is in International Relations, Social Service and Child Development.
