William Latimer
William Latimer, Ph.D. became the 14th president of The College of New Rochelle in April 2018, bringing with him more than 25 years of administrative and faculty experience with nationally recognized institutions, including Johns Hopkins University, the University of Florida, Gainesville, and Lehman College. At Lehman College, he served as dean of the School of Health Sciences, Human Services, and Nursing. Prior to joining Lehman College, he served as the Elizabeth Faulk Professor and Chair of the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology in the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions. Dr. Latimer received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Rhode Island; an M.P.H in epidemiology from the University of Minnesota; a Master’s Degree in developmental psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University; and Bachelor Degrees in English and Psychology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
