David Wofford
David Wofford has an Ed.S. from the University of West Alabama and serves as the Superintendent of Chickasaw City Schools in Mobile County, Alabama. Previous to June 2019, David served as an educator for 16 years in Washington County, a rural district with seven schools and a total enrollment of 2,812 students pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Wofford served as a teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, principal, and career and technical education director during his time with the district. While serving as principal and career tech director, Wofford established multiple dual enrollment classes and industry partnerships. During Wofford’s tenure, career and technical education programs experienced a 90% increase in enrollment in only 4 years.
