Sarah Bauder
Prior to joining PASSHE, Sarah Bauder worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she was responsible for a $1.6 billion scholarship program and led the creation and launch of a $420 million program. She served on the foundation’s postsecondary success team, developing programmatic strategies leveraging data and technology to drive transformational change from college access to workplace attainment. Previously, she spent 23 years in higher education, most recently with the Univ. of Maryland, as assistant vice president for financial aid and enrollment services operations.
Sarah holds a Master of Arts with honors from the Univ. of Maryland, College Park, in policy, planning and leadership and a Bachelor’s with honors from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in literature and language arts.
She has served on the executive board of Generation Hope, the advisory board for Univ. of Maryland - Smith School of Business, and the advisory board for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
