Cory Colby

Cory Colby currently serves as Associate Professor of Political Science with Lone Star College in Tomball, TX; part of the state's largest higher education institution, Lone Star College System. He proudly also serves as the faculty sponsor for a vibrant Student Government Organization and as the coordinator for the Civic Engagement Internship Program. He has previously served as the state president for the state's largest public educator association, the Association of Texas Professional Educators (ATPE), with over 100,000 members in Texas and as a public education middle school and high school instructor. Cory holds educator certificates in Texas for middle school, high school, and administration. His dynamic work in creating high-impact experiential learning in K12 and higher education have made him a resource for other educators and has allowed him to present previously at NISOD as well as hosting numerous educational edchats through social media.
