Marie Hamlett is passionate about student and leadership development and brings almost 10 years of experience in supporting and educating middle-schoolers and instructional leaders. Most recently, she was the 7th Grade Science Lead Teacher at Neighborhood Charter School of Harlem where she helped implement Blended Learning Instruction along side inquiry-based science curriculum. In the last five years of teaching Science Marie has taught in various New York City district and charter schools serving large English Language and Autisic populations. Her other teaching experience ranges from traditional classrooms, outdoor education, and work in China. Prior to her transition into teaching full-time, Marie’s work in education was largely behind the scenes with Uncommon Schools through coordinating and analyzing professional development.
