Jordan Gentry Nelson

Jordan Gentry is an artist and arts administrator in Austin, Texas. She has dedicated her seven year career in the arts to serving artists in Austin and across Texas and striving to bring their work to a broad and diverse community. As Director of Programming at Big Medium she oversees the direction and processes of over eight major programs, including annual studio tours and gallery exhibitions. Gentry served on the inaugural SXSW Art Advisory Board and has lent her voice to various professional development presentations, including through the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division, the Art Department of the University of Texas at Austin, I Live Here, I Give Here, and others. Gentry feels most at home when providing access to the arts and generating meaningful conversation around creative practices.
