Jeffrey Garrett
Prior to joining the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools, Jeff Garrett spent his career in urban education working primarily in New York City as the Principal of the Urban Assembly Bronx Academy of Letters, which consistently produced some of New York City’s highest college readiness metrics. Prior to that, Jeff worked as an instructional leadership coach, and a high school social studies teacher in East Harlem and the South Bronx. He began his career as a college admissions officer at his alma mater Dartmouth College. A native of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Jeff firmly believes in the importance of a quality public education in a democratic society.
