Mike Reeser

As Chancellor & CEO of the Texas State Technical College System (TSTC), Michael Reeser leads the statewide 2-year technical college system with 10 campuses across the state of Texas. Under Reeser’s leadership, TSTC has become well known as an innovator by applying proven business performance approaches to higher education operations. Recent accomplishments include: the Returned-Value Funding Formula, a wholly outcomes-based student success approach to state funding; the Tuition Money-Back Guarantee, a post-graduate employment assurance program provided to new TSTC students; and, the newly implemented TSTC Program Vitality System, a tool used to measure and rank TSTC programs by the Return-on-Investment each provides to the State of Texas. Prior to being appointed Chancellor in 2010, Reeser served TSTC in various roles including chief financial officer, college president, and dean of instruction.
