Ariel Taylor

Dr. Ariel Taylor began her career teaching high school math in 2011 and served as a district math specialist. She was also a math instructor at Wharton County Junior College. Dr. Taylor joined the UTeach Austin team in Spring 2019 as a Master Teacher. Ariel is the program coordinator for the UTeach Accelerate pathway, a university program that prepares candidates for secondary STEM teaching in as little as one year of coursework, followed by student teaching. Her book, Party of Four Please!: A Standards-Based Approach to Differentiation Through Blended Learning, was released in September 2018.
Dr. Taylor earned her B.S. and M.A. in Mathematics by 2013 from the University of Texas at Austin in the UTeach program. By 2016, Dr. Taylor had obtained her principal certification from Lamar University and superintendent certification from the University of Houston. She completed the Professional Leadership and Policy Studies doctoral program at the University of Houston in 2017.
