Celeste Rodriquez Jensen

Celeste Rodriguez Jensen leads Teach to Lead at the U.S. Department of Education, in collaboration with ASCD and Teach Plus. Celeste also leads the School Ambassador Fellowship at the U.S. Department of Education wherein her role, she supports, mentors, and advocates for school-based leaders, like teachers, school counselors, and principals, to infuse their expertise and voice in national policy-making while learning and growing their craft. Prior to becoming the program lead for the Fellowship and Teach to Lead, Celeste was Team Leader for their Migrant Education Program in the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education. Before coming to the Department, Celeste taught reading, language arts, and special education inclusion at the middle school level for the School District of Philadelphia. She received her undergraduate degree in Communications from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX, and her graduate degree in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
