Rotimi co-founded YouthHubAfrica, an online platform to engage young Nigerians in social change. He has over ten years of experience as a youth development expert and girls’ education advocate. Rotimi is currently involved in shaping local, national and global policies to benefit the youth population. He previously worked as a consultant to the World Bank, African Union and GIZ on youth programming in Nigeria. In April 2014, Rotimi joined the #BringBackOurGirls campaign to demand government action over the abduction of over 200 girls in northern Nigeria. In 2017, Malala Fund selected Rotimi as a Gulmakai Champion. With his Gulmakai Network Grant, Rotimi and YouthHubAfrica train journalists and conduct social media campaigns to push for the ratification of the Child Rights Act in five state governments in Nigeria — this law guarantees children the right to education through grade nine.
