Asia “ACE” Matthews is from Baltimore, MD. She's worked directly with the likes of Monalisa DeGross (Author), Dr. Carla Hayden (Library of Congress) & Jacqueline Woodson (Author) to celebrate & inspire underprivileged black & brown youth interested in the arts in the city of Baltimore. Working in this environment inspired her passion project, Creative Outsiders Inc. in 2013. Creative Outsiders Inc., a consulting agency that combines the worlds of education, music, technology & film.
In 2015, Asia began working with special needs children in Baltimore County Public Schools, spending some time in school music departments along the way. Seeing the transformative impact music can have on a cognitive level for students with learning disabilities inspired Asia's "Feel The Charm" movement, which curates content and events that raise money for extracurricular programs for students in need. Asia is currently the Youth Program Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Baltimore.
