Drew Scheberle
Drew has supported Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce volunteer executives for 15 years to create federal, state, local and private company policy and effective training to deepen short and long-term talent.
Drew provides staff leadership for the Chamber:
- National Security Innovation advocacy with the Administration, 7 Congressional and 2 U.S. Senate offices, state and local government;
- State engagement with agencies, commissions and the Central Texas delegation on reducing the state-enforced property taxes on taxpayers and improving college/career/military readiness rates;
- Regional efforts to support Austin Community College’s doubling of the certifications earned by 2030 and Workforce Solutions’ Master Community Workforce Plan to upskill 10,000 Austinites in poverty through training to placement in jobs paying 200% of the federal poverty rate;
- Initiatives to increase Metro Austin direct-to-college enrollment rates and expand to 12 P-TECH sites in K12.
