Ron Hall
Ron Hall, Ed.D is the Executive Director of the Valley Day School, an alternative school for students with emotional or behavioral issues, located near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For 27 years as a school administrator, Dr. Hall has created or enhanced quality schools by implementing current researched-based educational practices. He has served as a principal in rural Indiana, suburban Philadelphia, and urban schools in Ft. Wayne, IN. In 1998, Dr. Hall became a pioneer in the charter school movement, as an administrator in the first suburban charter school in Pennsylvania. He then went on to open two other charter schools, including one of the first cyber charter schools in the nation in 2001. For the past 7 years, he has worked with the Valley Day School to become a regional leader in brain-based practices, trauma-informed care, and instructional technology. Dr. Hall earned his undergraduate degree from Alfred University and two graduate degrees from Ball State University.
