Lorena Germán

Lorena German is a Dominican American educator working with middle and high school students in Austin, Texas. Published by NCTE, ASCD, EdWeek, and others, she’s a two-time nationally awarded teacher. Lorena is Co-Founder of the Multicultural Classroom as well as Co-Founder of #DisruptTexts through which she supports teachers in anti-bias pedagogy. She is also Chair of NCTE’s Committee Against Racism and Bias in the Teaching of English.
