We Need Liberal Education in Community College

Interdisciplinary liberal arts education is instrumental in addressing issues of equity and the erosion of public discourse in the US. Yet, while almost half of US undergraduates attend community colleges, few offer core-text focused and discussion-based courses and programs. This group of community college educators from New York and Texas is working to change that. Learn about our work and and join us in questioning the role of liberal education and its importance for the future of our democracy.
