Recent research has focused on the effects of trauma on young children and resources to build resilience. Relationships are the foundation of resilience for young children. This workshop will focus on and provide hands-on practice for building resilience through human connections. In this session will exam the research around trauma and resilience; examine the role of relationships with young children, families, and for the adults that serve them; and workshop ways to build strong connections.
