Preventing Violent Extremism in the Classroom
From South Asia to Southern California, violent extremists radicalize young people with hateful and intolerant ideologies that target groups of people they know little or nothing about. Using case studies across the spectrum and the globe, this panel of experts will discuss the online and offline dynamics that contribute to the radicalization of young people and propose ways in which educators can work with civil society and faith leaders to build resilience against these negative influences.
