Every ten years, the federal government aims to provide a complete count of every person residing in the U.S. through the Census. The Census can empower or disenfranchise communities of color. The Census determines which communities have voting power, access to healthcare, and how our public schools are funded. With stakes this high, there are real obstacles to get a fair and accurate count.
