Innovative Approaches to Career Exploration in MS

Date TBA

Districts are considering starting career exploration at a younger age and asking whether middle school is the right place to start. If so, do middle school educators have the bandwidth and resources to provide this opportunity? This session will reinforce that it's necessary and possible to begin career exploration in the middle grades and highlight proven approaches for augmenting standard curriculum & discuss where the responsibility can sit--with guidance or the classroom teacher. The panel will have a frank conversation of how school districts are solving these challenges & share blueprints for curriculum design, pacing/scheduling, and PD.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
