Leapfrogging is the idea that we can rapidly accelerate educational progress and close equity gaps around the world by harnessing the power of innovation. We studied 3,000 innovations to identify where leapfrogging is occurring in the here and now and found that the most promising innovations help students develop 21st century skills, put students at the center of learning, and frequently employ diverse providers and places of education as well as use results-oriented technology and data.
