Beyond Word Bubbles: Comics & Critical Creativity
Knowing the cross-cultural and educational value of storytelling, the U.S.Department of State Office of English Language Programs collaborates with authors, artists, and educators worldwide to promote the use of comics to gain essential English language and critical thinking skills. In this interactive conversation, participants will unpack the essential question, “how might students create comics to better understand content, themselves and others?” while exploring strategies to do just that.
