Unraveling the Adult Literacy Crisis
Adult literacy rates have been stagnant for nearly 30 years, despite the impacts of literacy on a person’s life—from health and finance to civic engagement and the success of our kids. We must get outside of our silos to tackle the issues that impact low literacy, harness technology and fund new research. International development and global health experts who now work in education will draw on lessons from those communities to discuss moving the needle on this silent crisis.
