By Students, for Students: Design for Mental Health
Despite its social and cultural significances, we don’t discuss mental health in our classrooms. Utilizing design thinking, 41 undergraduate students design-intervened current mental health organizations’ websites with unique features for college students who are experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorder, stigmatization, or suicide attempts. This session will share the process and outcomes of design ideas by college students to promote mental wellness for their peers and even themselves.
