Courtney Kaiser-Sandler is a songwriter, performer, and educator. She has released solo records and is one half of the band Kaiser Cartel. Her original songs have been heard on film and television including "Bored to Death", "The Firm," "Private Practice," and "Good Morning America." She has also worked alongside high-profile artists including John Mellencamp, The Wallflowers, Sufjan Stevens, Petra Haden, Yuka Honda, and Sean Lennon.As an educator she has created music programs for the Blue School, a school founded by the Blue Man Group in New York, for Brooklyn Heights Montessori School, and has taught master classes in songwriting at the Vibe Theater in New York and Idyllwild Arts Academy. Courtney pioneered the songwriting program at Interlochen Arts Academy and has been teaching there for the past 6 years.
