Tamara Atkinson

Tamara Atkinson is the Chief Executive Officer at Workforce Solutions Capital Area in Austin, Texas. With extensive experience in workforce development, Tamara plays a pivotal role in connecting local talent with employers and addressing the workforce needs of the region. Under her leadership, Workforce Solutions Capital Area has launched several key initiatives, including the "Hire Local Plan" to enhance local talent skills, improve income levels, and support local businesses.

Tamara also serves as the Immediate Past President of the Workforce Development Council at the United States Conference of Mayors, where she helps shape national workforce policies.
