Pam Wells EdD
Pam Wells, Ed.D. proudly serves as the executive director for Region 4 Education Service Center, which is the largest of the twenty education service centers in Texas. Region 4 provides service to support more than 1.2 million students and approximately 97,000 professional educators in 48 school districts and 37 public charter schools in the seven-county greater Houston area.
Pam has served as an adjunct professor at Sam Houston State University (SHSU) where she received her M.Ed. and Ed.D. and in 2015 was honored as the SHSU College of Education Distinguished Administrator. In 2017, she and her husband, Jim, were honored to become the namesakes of a new elementary school in Cy-Fair ISD, Wells Elementary.
Dr. Wells serves on the Houston Education Regional Consortium (HERC) Advisory Board, the Greater Houston Partnership’s Education Advisory Council, Upskill Houston Executive Committee, the Good Reason Leadership Council, and the United Way Education Council.
