Kathryn Nash
Kathryn Nash is Associate Director for Educational Affairs for Cognizant Technology Solutions, a Fortune 500 global leader in IT consulting and digital transformation. Heading corporate philanthropy in the U.S., Kathryn oversees purposeful strategy and investments and is responsible for developing, executing, measuring and communicating the Making the Future education initiative, a program inspired by the Maker Movement. Kathryn’s combination of experience in business and passion for education has played an active role in closing the achievement and opportunity gap for inner-city youth. Kathryn has held previous positions in nonprofit education leading corporate engagement, taught in inner-city public schools, and has been a successful business owner in the hospitality industry. Kathryn is owner of Green Acre CTX, a sustainable farming solution for the future, where she grows leafy greens in a hi-tech hydroponics shipping container. Kathryn received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Texas in Austin. She currently serves on the board of Maker Ed, a national nonprofit dedicated to harnessing the power of maker-centered learning to transform teaching and learning.
