Sylvia Butanda

Sylvia Butanda is the Latinitas program director where she manages year round media and technology enrichment programs for girls in Austin and has expanded programs to McAllen, TX and San Francisco, CA. She is a south Texas native and 2015 graduate from the UT Austin School of Journalism. She received the 2018 Out of School Time Champion Award from the Learn all the Time Network for her work in empowering girls and is a future 2019 graduate of the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's Hispanic Austin Leadership Program.
