Miikka Lehtonen

Hey there!

My name is Miikka, and I am a multidisciplinary academic with research and teaching focus on engineering, design, and business. I believe in learning-by-doing which gets reflected in my teaching methods. What is more, I believe that concepts like Design Thinking are best learned through action.

Previously I have worked on projects and teaching assignments in Finland and Japan. I have also experience teaching in Denmark, the United States, Russia, India, and China. Currently my main job focuses on research and teaching, but I also try to be active in delivering design-driven consulting solutions to clients in various industries.

My current research interests and teaching methods focus on visual methodologies, management and creativity in game companies, design practices in MNCs, and PechaKucha.
