Eric Garner has been a TV/Film production instructor for over 26 years in Florida. His background in TV comes from broadcast news working at WPTV, Florida’s News Channel, and at WTVJ. He continues to work in the industry as a freelancer creating independent productions and acting as background in films and TV. He is a graduate of FSU where he received his B.S. in Media Production and his M.S. in Educational Leadership. He currently leads the Television Production Academy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. His most recent work is as an Executive Producer for the #MSDStrong Documentary, highlighting the activism and rebuilding of the students at MSD after the Feb. 14 mass shooting.
